Scandal of the Year By Laura Lee Guhrke

http://www.lauraleeguhrke.com/

Scandal of the Year is the sequel to Wedding of the Season.  It is the story of the love affair of a scandalous divorcee Julia and the twice jilted Aidan.  I loved the back story that connects these two characters and the journey that finally brings them together. I would recommend this book to any historical romance fan.

Wedding of the Season is your typical romance about two people in-love that circumstance has driven apart.  I found their story both romantic and entertaining. I have to say I enjoyed it so much I can't wait to read the sequel Scandal of the Year

This is the sequel to the young adult novel Once a Witch.  It is well written and will appeal to the fantasy loving crowd.  I enjoyed reading this book and will be adding both books to my high school's library collection.

Moon Stone By Marilee Brothers

http://www.marileebrothers.com/moonstone.html

Allie Emerson discovered that she was born a Star Seeker and must beware of the Trimarks that are trying to stop her from fulfilling her destiny.  As if she didn't have enough problems with the school bully, living in a portable trailer with her mother who pretends to be disabled and needs Allie's help, and a dad that she has never met.

I found this book a light humorous read.  It will be popular with readers that enjoy the supernatural and it will appeal to the Twilight loving crowd.  I expect to hear more about this new series in the future.
